List #6019 Hiring Decision

The Bloomberg Administration announced today that it will decline to select any one of the five proposals offered by the court to hire a proby class from list #6019. As a result the City will not be permitted to hire any new Firefighters until a new test is given and a new list is established.

All parties involved agree that it could take 8 to 12 months to create a new test and then establish a list. The UFA will update the membership as new information becomes available.
