The UFA Health & Safety Office is conducting a special emergency training session at the UFA on Monday, January 31st at 5pm in the 4th floor meeting room. Battalion Delegates who are interested in assisting the UFA by being present when members are interviewed by the Safety Command after a firefighter is seriously or fatally injured at a fire are requested to attend. With the continued decrease in manning, closed firehouses and daily company closings for training, medicals, relocations and special event coverage, it is important that the UFA has enough trained officials who are knowledgeable firefighters available on quick notice after a critical or fatal event occurs.
