Tomorrow morning (Sunday, January 30) at 0630 hours, Channel 4 will be airing a previously recorded TV interview of FDNY Former Fire Commissioner Thomas Von Essen with reporter Melissa Russo. The UFA has been told he will be discussing the Bronx fatal fire that claimed the lives of one firefighter and one lieutenant--and the reasons why he removed the personal life saving ropes and harnesses from service.
