The UFA Health & Safety Officer Phil McArdle is conducting a special Safety Interview training session immediately after the UFA Union meeting at the JFK Ramada Inn on Thursday, February 24th.  The training should begin at approximately 12:30pm and last about one hour.  Delegates who are interested in assisting the UFA by being present when members are interviewed by the Safety Command after a firefighter is seriously or fatally injured at a fire are requested to attend.  It is important that the UFA has enough knowledgeable officials (who are trained firefighters) available on quick notice after a critical or fatal event occurs. Interested Delegates are asked to contact the UFA Health & Safety Office at 212-545-6965 to RSVP no later than Wednesday 2/23/05.  The UFA thanks all Delegates - once again - who continue to dedicate their valuable time and efforts toward protecting our members' rights and interests.
