Where: Weldon E. Howitt Middle School, 70 Van Cott Ave. in Farmingdale
The bone marrow drive will be held to find a match for Jake. Jake Amato is the 8 yr. old son of FF Ken Amato (E-274). Jake was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia and needs a bone marrow/stem cell transplant. Participants will use a cotton swab to collect cheek cells that can be used to identify a bone marrow match. Participants must be between the ages of 18 and 55.
