Press Conferences/Rallies at Firehouses
All off duty members are requested to turn out to stop firehouse closings. The Mayor has threatened to close at least 20 companies effective the new fiscal year, which begins July 1. Join the UFA, elected officials and local community supporters to speak out against budget cuts and firehouse closings, at the following location:
Monday, May 10 @ 10am
89-40 87th Street, Woodhaven, Queens
Will be followed by a march to E-294, located at 101-02 Jamaica Ave.
