The UFA Executive Board is asking all members to keep Firefighter Matthew Long of Ladder 43, and the entire Long Family in your prayers during this terrible time. Matt was severely injured yesterday morning while riding his bicycle to the Fire Academy, where he is assigned to the FDNY Fitness Unit. He remains in critical condition at New York Weill Cornell Medical Center. ANYONE INTERESTED IN HELPING TO SUPPORT MATT ARE ASKED TO DO SO BY DONATING BLOOD.

Toys "R" Us is inviting all employees of FDNY and their family members (when accompanied by FDNY-employee) to a private shopping event on Sun Nov. 20th from 7:00 am to 9:00 am. FDNY ID or paycheck stub will be required to attend the event.
