In accordance with the UFA Constitution, Company Delegates attended a special meeting today and voted on the tentative contract agreement.
The results were: 338 - yes, 18 - no, 12 – absent
Here is what will happen next:
- A copy of Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ’s) and the Memorandum of Understanding with Side Letters (constituting the entire Collective Bargaining Agreement), will be mailed to each member’s home by Tuesday, December 13th.
- Ballots will be mailed to each member's home on Monday, December 19th. They will be counted by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) on Thursday, December 29th with the results announced that afternoon.
***If you do not receive your ballot by Thursday December 22nd, call the AAA at (800) 529-5218 and a ballot will be placed in the mail for you
that day.
