NYS Honorary Fire Chiefs Scholarship

The NYS Honorary Fire Chiefs will be granting four $2,500 scholarships to members of the Department who will be enrolled in college level classes in the 2010-2011 school year. To be eligible, please list your current college standing and number of credits earned, as well as the name of the school you are / will be attending and your major. Please include a two to three paragraph essay on your plans once you have completed your degree. Also please describe why you should be considered for this scholarship: i.e., your contributions to the Department and/or your community. Completed applications must be submitted to the Chief of Department's office at 9 Metrotech, Brooklyn, NY 11201, by November 11, 2009. Note: Members who applied for this year's FF Thomas Brick Scholarships will automatically be included for consideration for this scholarship; no new application need be submitted.
