1. Fundraiser for FF Matthew Dugan (L-15)
On Thursday, October 1st from 5-10pm at Metro 53, 307 East 53rd St. New York, NY 10022 there will be a fundraiser for FF Matthew Dugan (L-15). Matthew was assaulted after departing from the Staten Island Ferry. Join in supporting Matthew while he continues to recover in the hospital. 2. FF Michael Kiefer (L-132) Annual Doo Wop Memorial Fundraiser
On Sunday October 18th, 4-9pm, at Plattdeutsche Park Restaurant, on 1132 Hempstead Turnpike, Franklin Square, NY. Tickets: $100. Includes open bar, buffet dinner, desert, raffles, 50/50, T-shirt sale and more. Starring Johnny Maestro and the Brooklyn Bridge with special guest Don K Reed (CBSFM). 3. 10th Annual NY's Bravest Night of Comedy
On Thursday, October 22nd at 8pm, at Governor's Comedy Club, 90 Division Avenue Levittown NY 11756. Tickets: $20 donation + 2 drink minimum. The program features NYC Firefighters Steve Alleva L-7, Adam Lake L-5, Jimmy Lawrence L-126, Kevin Seaman L-4, and Ed Sullivan (Ret.) E-211. Headlining is Goumba Johnny of WKTU. 4. FF Robert E. Parro (E-8) Street Renaming Ceremony
On Saturday, October 24th at 10:30am, there will be a street renaming ceremony honoring the memory of Firefighter Robert E. Parro (E-8). The ceremony will take place at the intersection of Division Avenue and Schoolhouse Road, Levittown, NY. All off-duty members and their families are invited to attend as a mark of respect to the deceased. Members are requested to attend in dress uniform.
