Volunteers Needed for FF Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Run
The 8th Annual Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Run will take place on Sunday, September 27th. Many members are still needed to carry memorial banners of the 343 lost Brothers and U.S. flags. Flag bearers will line the tunnel as runners retrace FF Stephen Siller's footsteps. Members attending in Class A Uniform will meet at Trinity Square Park located at the Manhattan side of the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel at 8am sharp.The run will kick off in Brooklyn on the Gowanus approach to the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel promptly at 9:30am, however there will be a special start at 9am for wounded warriors.
Note: In years past Probie classes have attended to carry U.S. flags and memorial banners. However, with NO Probie class this year, as many members as possible are being requested to attend in Class A uniform to help honor our 343 heroes lost on 9/11/01.
