1. UFA Scholarship Applications
REMINDER: Applications and instructions for the UFA Scholarship Fund are now available on the UFA website: HERE. Deadline for submission is October 9, 2009.
2. 4th Annual NYPD vs. FDNY Tennis Tournament
REMINDER: On Sunday, August 23rd at 9:30am, the 4th annual NYPD vs FDNY Tennis Tournament will be held at Crotona Park, Bronx, NY. You must sign-up to play. Contact DC Ray Stanton (845) 628-5437 to register. Family and colleagues are welcome to attend. There will be raffles for Yankee tickets, U.S. Open, and fun activities for the kids. Lunch will be served and parking is free. Proceeds support the NYPD Widows and Children's Fund and the UFA Scholarship Fund.
3. Roy Chelsen Bone Marrow & Blood Drive - August 23rd
REMINDER: On Sunday, August 23rd a bone marrow and blood drive will be hosted by Where-to-Turn and Miranda McAuliffe of the NY Blood Center at Mount Laretto located at 6581 Hylan Blvd., NY 10309. 4. 1st Annual Soccer FDNY vs. NYPD Mayors Cup
REMINDER: On Sunday, August 30th at 2pm at Giants Stadium the FDNY will take on the NYPD in soccer. Sideline Level Seats: $20, code: FDNY. A portion of every ticket will go toward the FF Sergio Villanueva Soccer Foundation (www.sergiosoccerfoundation.org).
