1. UFA Scholarship Applications - Available 8/10
Applications and instructions for the UFA Scholarship Fund will be available Monday, August 10th at www.UFANYC.org. Deadline for submission is October 9, 2009.
2. FDNY Steuben Association Boat Ride 2009
REMINDER: On Wednesday, August 19th, the annual Steuben Association Boat Ride for Firefighters, Nurses and friends will leave Pier 83 at West 42nd Street, Manhattan, aboard Circle Line Tours. Boarding begins at 7:30 pm; the cruise is from 8-11pm. Tickets: $40 in advance, $50 at the door if available, which includes the cost of the DJ, dancing, and an open bar (food service is available). 3. Firefighter Appreciation Night with the Staten Island Yankees
EXTENSION!!! On Thursday, August 20th, at 7pm the Staten Island Yankees will take on the Tri-City Valley Cats at Richmond County Bank Ballpark. 4. 1st Annual Soccer FDNY vs. NYPD Mayors Cup
On Sunday, August 30th at 2pm at Giants Stadium the FDNY will take on the NYPD in soccer. Sideline Level Seats: $20, code: FDNY. A portion of every ticket will go toward the FF Sergio Villanueva Soccer Foundation (www.sergiosoccerfoundation.org).
