2. 8th Annual Lt. Steve "Hangdown" Harrell Memorial Jam
REMINDER: Sunday, August 9th, 12 noon-7pm, at Nansen's Park, Staten Island located at 3465 Victory Blvd. A great day of family, music, and friends to honor a Brother who gave his life on 9/11. Donations: $40 for adults, $20 for children ages 6-14, kids under 6 are FREE. Includes 5 live bands, children's activities, full BBQ menu, refreshments and raffles. 3. 4th Annual NYPD vs. FDNY Tennis Tournament
REMINDER: On Sunday, August 23rd at 9:30am, the 4th annual NYPD vs FDNY Tennis Tournament will be held at Crotona Park, Bronx, NY. You must sign-up to play. Contact DC Ray Stanton (845) 628-5437 to register. Family and colleagues are welcome to attend. There will be raffles for Yankee tickets, U.S. Open, and fun activities for the kids. Lunch will be served and parking is free. Proceeds support the NYPD Widows and Children's Fund and the UFA Scholarship Fund.
4. Roy Chelsen Bone Marrow & Blood Drive - August 23rd
REMINDER: On Sunday, August 23rd a bone marrow and blood drive will be hosted by Where-to-Turn and Miranda McAuliffe of the NY Blood Center at Mount Laretto located at 6581 Hylan Blvd., NY 10309.
