Woman's Body Found after Brooklyn Fire

A woman's body was found in an apartment in Brooklyn after firefighters put out a fire in her home.

Police the call came in at 3:05 Tuesday morning about a fire on Troy Avenue.

Firefighters found a 47-year-old woman in the rear of the apartment. She was pronounced dead at Kings County Hospital.

The city medical examiner will determine the cause of death.
