REMINDER: On Friday, August 8th, 9am-12 noon, the 7th Annual Captain Vincent Brunton Memorial Pitch "N" Putt Golf Outing will be held with a BBQ following from 12 noon-6pm. On Sunday, August 10th, the Lt. John H. Martinson Family Picnic will be held at Nansen Park, 3465 Victory Blvd, Staten Island, N.Y. from 12-7pm. Admission: $50 per adult, $20 per child 6-14yrs old, children 5 and under are FREE. Admission includes unlimited beverages, BBQ, DJ, games & prizes. 3. 5th Annual Lt. Thomas Kelly (E-219/L-105) Memorial Golf Outing
REMINDER: Friday, August 15th at Cherry Creek Golf Links, Riverhead, NY. Tickets: $160 includes practice range, gift, BBQ lunch, shotgun start, golf & cart, refreshments on the course, dinner, open bar, prizes & awards. Registration begins at 10:30am, lunch/practice range at 12 noon, shotgun starts at 1:20pm. All proceeds to benefit marine research on Long Island through riverhead fund at Atlantis Marine World. 4. The 7th Annual Lt. Steve "Hangdown" Harrell Memorial Jam
REMINDER: Sunday, August 17th, 12 noon-7pm, at Nansen's Park, Staten Island located at 3465 Victory Blvd. A great day of family, music, and friends to honor a Brother who gave his life on 9/11. Donations: $40 for adults, $15 for children ages 6-14, kids under 6 are FREE. Includes 5 live bands, children's activities, full BBQ menu, refreshments and raffles. 5. FDNY Fire Family Transportation Motorcycle Run
REMINDER: On Saturday, August 23rd, arrive 5:30am to depart at 7am sharp, at the Floyd Bennett Field in Brooklyn. The Motorcycle Run will go from NYC to Shanksville, PA. Proceeds will support the FDNY Fire Family Transportation Foundation and The Wounded Warriors. Registration: $40 for motorcycle & rider, $20 for passenger. The cost of tolls will be paid for registered motorcycles going westbound ONLY. The first 1,000 participants to register will receive a free Iron & Steel logo pin.
