Nine Injured In Manhattan Fire

Two firefighters are in serious condition and seven others were injured battling a fire in Manhattan yesterday.

Flames broke out on the first floor of an apartment building at the intersection of East 35th Street and Lexington Avenue Saturday afternoon.

It took crews about an hour to control the fire.

Investigators spent Saturday night trying to determine a cause.
