On Thursday, June 5th at 5pm, the Department will commemorate the 10th Anniversary of the Atlantic Avenue Fire, at which Capt. Scott LaPiedra (L-176) and Lt. James Blackmore (E-332) made the Supreme Sacrifice on June 5, 1998. The Memorial Mass & Dedication will take place on the sidewalk in front of 2625 Atlantic Ave. (btwn. Sheffield Ave. & Pennsylvania Ave.) Brooklyn, NY. All off-duty members & their families are invited to attend as a mark of respect to the deceased. Members are requested to attend in dress uniform.
