Woman Killed in Brooklyn House Fire

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A 67-year-old Brooklyn woman was killed in a house fire this morning, FDNY officials said.

The fire broke out in the home on Rogers avenue in Brooklyn at about 5 a.m. Saturday.

The victim, May Yancey, was pronounced dead at the scene, officials said. Another woman who lived at the home is in stable condition after suffering burns to her face and arm.

The cause of the fire is still being investigated.
