STREET RENAMING

On Friday, May 2, 2008 at 1100 hours, there will be a street renaming ceremony in memory of Lieutenant Howard J. Carpluk, Jr., E-42, who made the supreme sacrifice on August 28, 2006. The ceremony will take place at the corner of Monroe Avenue and Cross Bronx Expressway North, outside the quarters of E-42 located a 1781 Monroe Ave., Bronx. All off-duty members and their families are invited to attend as a mark of respect to the deceased. Members are requested to attend in dress uniform.
