2. 4th Annual Lt. John Bellew (L-27) Memorial 5K Run
REMINDER: Saturday, April 19th beginning at 11am, Pearl River Volunteer Firehouse 58 Central Avenue, Pearl River, NY. Day includes a “Fun Run” for children ages 6-12, beginning at 10am & a post race party. Tickets: $20 before April 1st, $25 after April 1st, $10 for children under 12. 3. FDNY Bravest Football vs. LAFD
The FDNY Bravest Football Team will be opening their 2008 season on Saturday, April 19th at 1pm at New Dorp HS in Staten Island. The FDNY will play against the LAFD. For more info visit www.bravestfootball.com.
4. FDNY Holy Name Society Communion Breakfast

5. 10th Annual Capt. Scott LaPiedra (E-80) Memorial Race
On Sunday, April 20th, at 10am, the 10th annual running of "Scott's Race" will take place. The 5K run will begin at Clove Lakes Park, Staten Island. The entry fee is $20, $25 for race day entries before 9am. A quarter mile "Kids Run" will begin at 11am, children under 12 are FREE. There will be a post race party & barbecue. 6. FDNY Spring 2008 College Fair
On Thursday, April 24, from 10am-1pm at 405 Building, Fort Totten, representatives from CUNY, SUNY, Area Colleges, and Online & Distance Learning Degree Programs will provide info about educational opportunities for FDNY personnel. FDNY partner colleges offer programs specifically developed to assist FDNY fire service members meet educational requirements for career objectives.
