THREE FALLEN city firefighters were honored at a New York Rangers game this month.
Friends and family of Firefighters Robert Beddia, Joseph Graffagnino and Daniel Pujdak watched as officials from GHI/HIP presented a $5,000 check to the Uniformed Firefighters Association Scholarship Fund.
"They gave their lives to keep New Yorkers safe, and we are proud to honor them with this contribution," said Frank Branchini, chief executive officer of GHI.
Family members included Graffagnino's widow, Linda, and his daughter, Mia; Beddia's brother Jim; Pujdak's parents, Christine and Leo, and his brother, Matthew, an FDNY probationary firefighter, as well as UFA President Steven Cassidy.
