Brooklyn Man Killed In Apartment Fire

A Brooklyn resident was killed this morning when a fire broke out in an East Flatbush apartment building.

According to fire officials, flames broke out just after 7:30 this morning at 1275 East 51st Street.

Officials say the fire started on the third floor of a seven-story building.

A man was pronounced dead at the scene.

It is unclear how the fire began.
