With regret, the Department announces the death of Supervising Fire Marshal Douglas Mercereau, ADMBFI (appointed October 15, 1995), which occurred on December 2, 2007. Funeral will take place from Scalia Funeral Home, 28 Eltingville Blvd., Staten Island, NY on Friday, December 7, 2007, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 1015 hours, at St. Charles RC Church, 644 Clawson Street, Staten Island, NY.
