Third-alarm Fire Burning in Brooklyn

In the Weeksville section; 30 fire units on the scene

WEEKSVILLE -- A third-alarm fire is burning in a building in the Weeksville section of Brooklyn.

Newscopter Seven was live over the scene. The FDNY says more than 30 units -- some 140 firefighters -- battled the flames.

No civilians were hurt, but four firefighters were treated for minor injuries.

Eyewitness News is told the fire broke out on the second floor of 6-20 at 1897 Atlantic Avenue just before 6:30 a.m. this morning.

Heavy flames could be seen shooting out the roof of the two-story home.
