Third-alarm fire burns through a church

(Prospect Heights-WABC, Oct. 27, 2006) - A third-alarm fire is burning through a church in the Park Slope section of Brooklyn.

Newscopter Seven was live over the scene.

Eyewitness News has learned the fire broke out on the second floor of the Memorial Presbyterian Church at 186 St John's Place just after 6:30 a.m.

White smoke was spewing out of the front of the large church.

No injuries were immediately reported.
