Members of the Fire Department Boxing Team met with leaders of the Wounded Warrior Project July 12 to present a $7,000 check raised from a charity boxing marathon. FDNY pugilists held open matches against leading amateurs and Golden Glove champions to bring in funds to support the Wounded Warrior Project, which helps U.S. soldiers who have been seriously injured while fighting overseas in Iraq and Afghanistan.
