A BRONX FIREHOUSE full of motorcycle enthusiasts was in mourning yesterday after one of its members was killed while riding his Suzuki bike. Firefighter David Romero, 34, of the Bronx was hit by a car making an illegal U-turn at 5:30 p.m. Friday on Sedgwick Ave. near the Washington Bridge, police said. "He just loved the job. It came naturally to him," said fellow Firefighter John Blake, 43. "I would crawl into any hallway with the guy. I'd go into any fire with him." Romero, a father of three, was a standout on the firehouse softball team and part of a tight-knit group who prized their motorcycles. Marcial Cepeda, 33, superintendent of the building next-door, said that, when he had a bike accident two years ago, the firefighters responded. "After my accident, I stopped riding my bike and I would tell them to be careful," he said. Romero, a four-year veteran of the FDNY, was wearing his helmet when he crashed. The driver who cut in front of him, Jennifer Avendano, 25, of New Rochelle, was issued a summons.
