Boaters enjoying the last gasp of summer were pulled to safety yesterday after flames engulfed their craft about 300 feet from the Brooklyn shoreline. Firefighters with Marine Unit 3 rescued the two adult passengers as their burning boat floated just north of the Mill Basin drawbridge, officials said. The 8:53 a.m. blaze erupted after a sudden blast that was likely triggered by a fuel leak, authorities said. Motorists driving along the nearby Belt Parkway called 911 to report the fire, which was doused by 9:45 a.m. The passengers suffered minor injuries, but both declined medical attention, an FDNY spokesman said.
