A five-alarm fire ripped through a Brooklyn apartment building yesterday leaving 46 people homeless, according to the Red Cross and the FDNY.

The blaze erupted at 9:48 a.m. on the top floor of 969 Carroll St. in Crown Heights and engulfed the entire four-story building, officials said.

More than 200 firefighters were called to the scene and battled the blaze for two hours.

No civilians were hurt, but 25 firefighters were treated for minor injuries
