Bravest aid cops

NY Daily News

Firefighters pried two Bronx cops out of their patrol car in Mott Haven yesterday after the cruiser collided with a small truck and then crashed head-first into a stopped livery cab.

The police car, sirens blaring, was speeding through a red light at E. 139th St. and St. Ann's Ave. when it was upended by the truck, witnesses said.

The cops suffered only bumps and bruises.
