A tanker came within inches of nose-diving onto Meeker Avenue in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, early yesterday after nearly flipping over at the McGuinness-Humboldt exit of the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway.

The unidentified driver lost control of his rig after being cut off, police said. The truck hit a wall at the exit before jumping the barrier.

Somehow, the driver hung on inside the dangling cab as crews from the FDNY's Ladder 124 rescued him with a cherry picker.

The driver, who suffered minor injuries, was treated at Bellevue Hospital in Manhattan and released, cops said.

The fuel truck was empty at the time, cops said. No summons was issued.
