Members of the FDNY will be hosting a Blood Drive Friday, June 29th, at the O'Brien VFW Hall, Rt.52 Carmel, NY, from 2:30 till 8:00. Walk-ins welcome. Food and refreshments will be on hand. 2. 4th Annual Lt. Thomas Kelly Memorial Golf Outing
Monday, July 2nd. Cherry Creek Golf Links, Riverhead, NY. $160.00 includes practice range, gift, BBQ lunch, shotgun start, golf & cart, refreshments on the course, dinner, open bar, prizes and awards. 3. FDNY Anchor Club Sponsors: Visit to Frances Schervier Home
Located at 2975 Independence Ave in the Riverdale section of the Bronx (west of Henry Hudson Parkway and south of 231Street) on Thursday, July 12, 2007 from 10am until approximately 7pm. The day includes bringing patients to the picnic, serving hamburgers, hot dogs and refreshments. All FDNY members and their families are invited to participate. 4. FDNY Day at Six Flags Park & Wild Safari
Six Flags Great Adventure will host FDNY Day on Sunday, July 15, 2007. Special FDNY discount admission of $30 (+ tax), includes KC and the Sunshine Band Concert and one hour of exclusive time (9:30-10:30am) on El Toro, Kingda Ka, plus the new Wiggles World area for kids. Live broadcast with 77 WABC Religion on the Line's Rabbi Potasnik and Deacon Kevin McCormack, joined by FDNY Special Guests. Other exciting activities include: FDNY-led Parade, Fireworks, Baby Safari Animals, Fire Safety Programs, Fire Dept merchandise, KC and the Sunshine Band Concert at 7:00pm on the Northern Star Arena stage, FDNY pre-concert program at 6:00pm. 5. 7th Annual FDNY Night
Friday July 20th 2007, KeySpan Park, Pre-game activities at 6pm, Brooklyn Cyclones vs. Valley Cats at 7pm. Post-game fireworks. Tickets: $15 Grandstand and $10 Bleacher.
