The June issue of Firelines incorrectly reported that the Queens Trustee ballot will mail to Queens members’ homes on June 16. The correct mailing date is June 26.

Ballot Due Date for Queens Trustee Election
In accordance with the UFA constitution, the ballots shall be opened and counted by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) on July 11 at 9:00 am. If you do not receive a ballot by the afternoon of June 30th, immediately contact the AAA at 800-529-5218, M - F, 9am - 5pm, and a ballot will be mailed that day to your home. Only active Queens members in good standing shall be eligible to vote. The winner must be approved by an affirmative vote of a majority of valid ballots counted by the AAA. Paul Tokarski L-173 and Steve Humenesky E-301 were both nominated as candidates at the June 12 union meeting. The winner takes office immediately upon completion of the certified ballot count.

Queens Trustee Coverage for June
Since resigning his position of Queens Trustee effective June 1, Tom DaParma is remaining on the UFA payroll for the month of June and is still attending to Queens Trustee Duties.
